Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the achievement of revenue, market shares and profits for Eucerin across MENA. They will steer the brand portfolio, manage launches and relaunches, develop marketing plans that align with the business plan, control marketing budgets, liaise with Sales/S&CM/Digital teams to land strong customer marketing plans and ensure ongoing product supply for full assortment while working closely with the Marketing Manager to meet and exceed brand targets.

Main Accountabilities

Business Development and Market Understanding
  • Achieve sales, profit and market share objectives in line with the Annual Marketing Plan through monthly performance analysis, leading to recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.
Marketing Budget Control
  • Control marketing investment in line with the agreed Marketing Plan, updated as necessary during the financial year.
Maximization of Return On Investment
  • Review and consistently evaluate alternative marketing investments opportunities in order to maximize return on investment against agreed brand objectives.
Innovations & Renovations
  • Evaluate, scope and validate concept to product development of exciting marketing mixes so as to bring in relevant innovations and renovations that excite and engage consumers.
International Exchange
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the local consumer needs and competitive context for your category.
  • Lead exchange of insights/recommendations with global and regional offices so as to facilitate the definition of regional marketing and communication strategy and local competitive advantage.
Internal Marketing Plan
  • Lead the annual Marketing Plan, under the supervision of the Marketing Manager within the long-term Business Plan, liaise with Global / Regional offices to identify appropriate product innovations, local supply chain to ensure that internal processes are properly managed and Commercial Units (CUs) are fully briefed and resourced to deliver appropriate Customer Marketing Plan.
Marketing & Communications Strategy
  • Lead, in coordination with Marketing Manager, with agencies to ensure the best-in-class adaptation/creation of marketing and communication campaigns suited to the different local markets. Apply and further build digital capabilities to leverage consumer journeys and deliver brand KPIs.
Achievement of Eucerin MENA Marketing Drive Plan
  • Coordinate MENA brand activities across Eucerin functions (Digital, Medical, Shopper & Customer Marketing, and Ecom) in order to achieve the agreed Marketing Drive Plan.
Assure Product Supply
  • Coordinate with supply chain function to ensure the continuous supply of product to the market place, especially in time for aligned activations.
Your Profile
  • Bachelors/ master\'s in business administration from a recognized University preferably with a focus on Marketing.
  • A minimum of 5 years\' experience in consumer marketing. Specialising in fast moving consumer goods or dermatological cosmetics would be a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year in current role mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills Excellent communication as well presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly flexible.
  • Passion for impacting people\'s lives through products and communication.
  • Team worker and able to work autonomously and cross-functionally.
  • Proven track record in leading brand strategy to win in the market
  • Language: Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications. Adobe Acrobat and SAP will be a plus.
