Job Details What you will doThe Senior BOD Engineer is a key role that reports to the Senior Key Accounts Manager - Data Center, working in our direct business across the Middle East region. As Senior BOD Engineer, you will be based in Dubai and will work with a team that works closely with the data center business for the JCI products & solution portfolio, specifically HVAC, Fire Systems, Building Management Systems, Security, and is passionate about rapidly growing our footprint and data center customer base to achieve our strong growth objectives.As a member of this team, you will be responsible for consulting sales for (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey and Sub-Saharan Africa regions) and develop proven connections with consultants, and promoting and specifying JCI Data Center solutions (HVAC, Fire, BMS, Security), and sustain Johnson Controls's image and reputation as the supplier of choice and build a consultant's map and annual coverage plan.You will contribute to growing JCI's market share in the data center business by rapidly growing the inquiry base (consultants) and defining a spec-in strategy. You will further build and establish the JCI brand, and plan strategically to expand the Consultant's network and capture market share and you will also support the Business development and sales team with value engineering, Basis of design, and training on JCI equipment.As a member of this team, you will work in a multifaceted atmosphere that allows you to utilize your knowledge to help us achieve our GCC region's commercial objectivesHow you will do itAs a Senior BOD Engineer, you will demonstrate your extensive technical knowledge of HVAC, Fire systems, BMS, and security to help data center consultants specify JCI solutions. You will be supporting the Consultants with selecting & drafting the basis of design specifications. You will be primarily responsible for keeping track of all JCI products design and ongoing data center projects in the MEA regions and presenting the results to the consultant. You will use your technical knowledge to understand engineering drawings and specifications in order to develop and provide engineered equipment.As a Senior BOD Engineer, you will be conducting training and Seminars for the consultant's team and advice on the newest technology trends in the data center industry. You are a self-motivated hunter who is driven to seek and build an existing business and long-term consultant's connections. You are analytical, persistent, dedicated, and conscientious in your approach to work, and you can manage numerous priorities concurrently due to your extraordinary planning, organization, and time-management skillsWhat we look forRequiredBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/Electrical Engineering Strong technical knowledge of the data center standards Extensive technical knowledge in HVAC and Fire systemsStrong understanding and work exposure in the engineering and data center industry within the MEA regionA strong network of consultant contacts in the data center businessExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travelPreferredValid UAE Driving LicenseData Center certifications from recognized organizations
