We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Automation Engineer with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of process control, automation design, and implementation across various industrial sectors. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather automation requirements, perform system integration, and commissioning of control systems. Utilize expertise in energy management information systems to optimize energy consumption within industrial processes, contributing to sustainability and cost-efficiency goals. Evaluate and select appropriate hardware and software components for automation projects, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source automation equipment and technologies, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships. Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity measures to safeguard automation systems Participate in project planning and cost estimation, contributing technical insights to ensure successful project execution within budget and timeline constraints. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation. Proven expertise in energy management information systems and their application in industrial settings. Relevant certifications in industrial automation, energy management, IoT, cloud computing, or related fields would be advantageous. Familiarity with process control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Proficiency in the use of OPC UA for seamless data exchange between automation systems and other devices, applications, or platforms and general familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP. Working knowledge of IoT and cloud computing Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
