Overview

Looking for a seasoned Senior Associate- Partnerships, to establish partnerships that can transform our capabilities and support our strategy for fast growth.

The opportunity

The Senior Associate Partnerships will work with the Head of Partnerships and broader Business team to further strengthen our partnership portfolio across business functions and needs and support the securing of exciting deals with entities across technologies and geographies. This is a dynamic, fast-paced and strongly stakeholder-facing role. The role does not require significant travel.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Coordination, tracking and evaluation of a rich pipeline of partnerships, communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Alongside the Head of partnerships and Legal, develop and negotiate partnership deals from MoUs to collaboration agreements and contracts

Support the development of feasibility studies and outline business cases including formulating commercial assumptions and projections

Manage partnership engagements including industry, government, universities, startups or other entities across domains of health technology, broader biopharma innovation and life sciences

Deliver market research to proactively identify possible partners of interest in areas of priority

Develop processes, governance and frameworks to improve our ways of working

Prepare and execute meetings and relevant committees, working with stakeholders across the business

Work flexibly and with a commercial and service-oriented mentality, to identify opportunity and/or support excellence and growth across the business.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have

5 or more years in project or partnership management roles ideally within the health technology and / or life science space, with a proven track record of working within a commercial environment across healthcare, research, industry and/or startup environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flexible, creative, dynamic, innovative and can-do attitude to work.

Ability to quickly develop and/or support technical market research, supporting feasibility studies, business cases and commercial projections

Experience in life science, healthcare technology or other relevant technical area in a stakeholder-facing role with project and commercial responsibilities

Experience in drafting MoUs, term sheets and reviewing contracts, with record of partnership negotiation and supporting legal document development

Experience in drafting strategic or commercial technical proposals

Good understanding of healthcare services, reimbursement and regulatory frameworks combined with understanding of health innovation and cutting-edge health / life science / diagnostic / AI developments

Ability to deep dive into complex topics and express them simply and coherently to lay and/or senior audiences

Good understanding of governance and process development, committee and meeting support and preparation

Solid project management toolkit and skills

Working with or as part of a commercial department, with interfaces to legal and broader business

Ideally, you'll also need

Ability to liaise with executives, medical, biomedical, scientific, commercial and government stakeholders

Commercial acumen with ability to understand value and bridge the gap between tech, science and business

Previous experience in academic enterprise, knowledge or technology transfer environments

Experience working in the Middle east

Ability or strong willingness to perceive, discover and nurture opportunity in ambiguous spaces

Some understanding in IP, commercial and projections and other forms of healthcare / health-tech / transformation-related impact
