\xc2\xb7 Such projects could be multi-disciplinary but will generally be single discipline

Presenting to clients

Preparing client/project proposals for agreement with a Director.

Negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees where possible.

Constructing project teams from internal and external resources.

Procuring project resources

Planning projects

\xc2\xb7 Liasing with client/design team/contractor/authorities.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring QA policy, HSE and CDM requirements are satisfied.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to represent the practice on the projects under his/her control.

Engineering Function

• Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals.

• Review and comment on deliverables produced by the team on a regular basis.

• Demonstrates all round technical competence.

• Have a good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.

• Prepare drawings, calculations & models. Review documents prepared by subordinates.

• Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts.

• Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.

HSEQ Responsibilities

• Understand, implement and follow WME HSEQ policies.

• Implement and coordinate HSEQ procedures in your workplace.

• Report any HSEQ incidents immediately to WME HSEQ Dept. and to legal authorities if required.

• Abide Client/Contractor HSEQ requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.

Profile

Qualifications

• On average a minimum of 12+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the relevant field. Qualified as Graduate/Chartered Engineer.

• Have a proven record as a Senior Project Engineer on a number of projects.
