JOB TITLE
Senior Associate, Collection | Majid Al Futtaim Properties
ROLE SUMMARY
The Collection Specialist role proactively manages the collections activities for Asset Management Business Unit. It includes ensuring the smooth collection processes through connecting with tenants, following up escalated issues, recommending mitigating measures and advising on tenants' credits requests. This position plays an integral role in establishing profession and strong relations with tenants, and the internal stakeholders to ensure that all collections activities are running as schedules in line with lease
ROLE PROFILE

• Manage accounts receivable, tenant dues, collections, and payment requests.

Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants while ensuring timely collections. * Reconcile tenant accounts and negotiate payment plans where required.
Coordinate with Finance and internal stakeholders on billing and collection matters. * Resolve billing, receivables, reporting, and control-related issues.

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual collection and ageing reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, local regulations, tax laws, and KPIs.
• Recommend improvements to reporting formats, collection tools, and billing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in B2B collections or a similar Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations related to debt collection, accounts receivable, and revenue management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and time-management skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and business systems; experience with Yardi is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of AR/collections experience and a bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance.
