Job Summary

We are looking for a

highly skilled Senior Architect Engineer

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in

architectural site execution

, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with project specifications.

The Senior Architect Engineer will play a major role in

managing site architectural works

, resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and driving progress to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities1. Architectural Site Management

Supervise and monitor day-to-day architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Ensure proper execution of finishes, facade, interiors, joinery, waterproofing, block works, and all architectural elements. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality, safety, and workmanship standards are met.

2. Technical Coordination

Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals; ensure alignment with project requirements. Coordinate with

MEP, structural, and civil teams

to resolve design clashes and site issues promptly. Interface with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and technical discussions.

3. Design & Documentation

Identify design discrepancies and propose solutions to avoid delays or rework. Prepare and manage RFIs, site instructions, and technical queries to consultants. Ensure all drawings and documents are updated as per the latest revisions.

4. Quality Control & Compliance

Ensure all architectural works comply with

UAE building codes

, authority regulations, and project specifications. Verify materials delivered to site meet approved samples and quality requirements. Monitor finishing works to achieve high-quality standards expected by the client.

5. Planning & Progress Monitoring

Assist the project manager and planning team in developing construction sequences for architectural activities. Maintain daily/weekly reporting on progress, constraints, inspections, and manpower requirements. Support the preparation of handover documentation, snag lists, and completion certificates.

6. Leadership & Team Management

Lead architectural site engineers, draftsmen, and supervisors. Train and guide juniors in technical and execution matters. Manage subcontractors' performance and ensure timely completion of works.

Job RequirementsEducation & Professional Background

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's preferred). Minimum

12 years of experience

, with at least

7years in UAE

working on major construction projects (residential towers, commercial buildings, mixed-use, etc.). Strong background in

site architectural works

, finishes, facade systems, detailing, and technical coordination.

Technical Skills

Proficient in

AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), SketchUp, and MS Office

. Strong knowledge of

UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality, DCD, Trakhees, and related authority requirements

. Excellent ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Problem-solving and decision-making mindset. Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
