- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the cloud privacy.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
- Invent and build solutions that solve complex problems, scale globally, guarantee performance, and enable breakthrough innovations,
- Migrate Data Centers and Applications from on-premise into the Cloud,
- (Re)design solutions to use cloud native technologies and modern software development practices,
- Help customers define their business outcomes and guide their technical architecture and investments.
- Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices and artifacts that will guide our Customers; publish and present them in large forums and across various media platforms.
- Coach and mentor fellow team members on latest cloud technologies, Cloud services and best practices.
- Contribute to enhance and improving Cloud services.
- Provide expert root cause and corrective action leadership to resolve any and all operational issues found across infrastructure architectures, hardware platforms, and vendor performance.
- Participate in cross-organizational design reviews and make recommendations to support operational strategy to include business or technical problems that need to be solved.
- Lead highly cross-functional infrastructure projects/programs/functions in a matrix organization covering a range of areas (data center, network, infrastructure, logistics, compliance, legal, and software system engineering).
- Represent organization and manage interaction with third party hardware, colocation, telecom carrier, and managed service partners.
- Work closely with the infrastructure product teams and ensure alignment of New Product Introduction (NPI), operational integration, and operational support strategy.
- Lead business risk management alignment and change management at the organizational level for edge infrastructure use cases.
- Build and nurture strategic business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
- Directly contribute ideas and project scope to explore nascent products and technologies to evolve the business
- When appropriate, provide hands on management and leadership during analysis, goal definition, design, solution development, plan socialization, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of work experience operating, deploying, and designing Cloud infrastructure, large-scale network and/or content distribution infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
- Excellent knowledge of network, database and web technologies.
- Experience influencing strategy at the functional, operational and corporate levels across network architectures used for content distribution and high-bandwidth, low-latency applications.
- Expert level subject matter expertise in one of more of the following technical domains: CDN & Network Services, IP Networking (IPv4/6 Routing & Switching), Infrastructure & Optical Networking, Software Systems Design & Architecture, DevOps/Data Analytics.
- Expert level experience leading and contributing to large-scale cross-functional projects
- Experience influencing organizational and functional design in dynamic environments.
- Network security management
