ROLE SUMMARY The Senior Animal Care Specialist for Snow Oman-Muscat would be responsible for daily management of staff, husbandry, animal training and leading all high-quality animal presentations.

ROLE PROFILE Ensures the efficiency of daily operations, maintenance and safety in the animal habitat, Encounter and March areas. Monitor animals and manage animal behavior, health and training and ensure that animal record keeping system is up to date Assist in implementing the animal training and enrichment programs Assist with monitoring and carrying out the daily feeding and training of animals Monitors and maintains all aspects of animal habitat including air and water quality Participates in daily animal encounter and educational programs Performs any additional adhoc duties as and when requested by the Line Manager or Head of Department. Familiarity with booking system and Qualtrix

REQUIREMENTS 5 years of animal training experience, preferably with the care of marine animals Bachelor's degree in Biology or Zoology or related field or equivalent experience Awareness of following and implementing international zoo and aquarium standards and procedures (AZA-Association of Zoos & Aquariums) Proficiency in windows apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint Be able to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height Willing to work in flexible shifts and cold environment WHAT WE OFFER At Majid Al Futtaim, we're on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
