Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: To monitor pricing of oil and gas daily, prepare reports and makes recommendations for pricing changes of commercial products based on the Organization's policy and Strategy. To recommend pricing of ADNOC products based on competitors, international benchmark changes, global supply/demand trends, pricing and marketing strategies, in line with the Organization's strategy. To analyse the feasibility of new projects, products and business lines. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Job Specific Accountabilities . Prepares reports by product line, region and product on marketing and sales performance and makes recommendations on how performance targets can be achieved through pricing of the products. Prepares monthly presentations covering actual sales performance against balanced scorecard figures. . Compares actual sales, pricing, supply and distribution logistics of ADNOC products to competitor sales, prices, supply and logistics and reports the information to management. . Prepares daily and monthly reports on pricing information comparing acquisition prices from suppliers including ADNOC, Argus, Platt and Prim in order to determine net profit and pricing benchmarks. . Prepares global/local pricing trend analysis (daily and monthly reports) based on international pricing benchmark movements (ADNOC, Argus, Platt and Prim) across all commercial products . Prepares monthly pricing and discount memorandums for distribution whenever there is a pricing change approved by Management. . Supports finance with monthly sales and margin closure across the different commercial products based on pricing and margins across different customers and products. . Works with the concerned personnel in Divisions/ Departments for the future pricing and discounting of oil and gas by analysing tends for over the last 60 months by product and business line. Gathers information of global trends in petroleum products, pricing and marine freights. Analyses the information and prepares reports for management. . Carries out feasibility studies and evaluations of capital projects, new business lines and new products. Prepares a report with recommendations and forwards to the AGM- R&C Sales. . Participates in the development of a unified computer sales/financial reporting system. . Network proactively across the organization to identify factors affecting the business and reporting tools, as well as to conduct non-typical data gathering and identify process synergies. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Finance. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills . 8 years of experience pricing products of which at least 6 years in retail oil and gas sector Professional Certifications Below would be an advantage . Project Management Professional (PMP) . PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI) . Master Project Manager (MPM)
