Our client, a leading energy analytics firm, is looking for a highly analytical and driven Senior Oil Analyst to join their Dubai-based team. This senior-level position will play a key role in shaping and leading analytical strategies across the broader Middle East region. The ideal candidate will bring deep market expertise and thought leadership to deliver high-quality, cross-barrel oil market insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cross-barrel market analysis using seaborne trade flow and freight analytics data to produce thought-leading insights, reports, and presentations for clients.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality and develop innovative approaches to transform complex datasets into actionable, strategic insights.
Requirements:
Strong cross-barrel expertise in oil and gas markets, including a solid grasp of supply and demand fundamentals. Specialized knowledge in one or more niche areas is a plus.
Experience in the Middle East and familiarity with regional markets.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
