We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Design Engineer to join our esteemed engineering team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning and design of airport facilities, ensuring that they meet all regulatory requirements and adhere to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
This position will involve a thorough understanding of airport operations, as well as the technical aspects of design and construction.
The Airport Design Engineer will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and airport operators, to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions tailored to the unique challenges of each project. In addition to design responsibilities, the Airport Design Engineer will also conduct feasibility studies, prepare project documentation, and participate in site assessments to inform design decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the context of transportation infrastructure and airport design. Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site assessments and feasibility studies for airport development projects.
• Design airport layouts, including runways, taxiways, terminals, and other facilities in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineering disciplines to integrate airport design with overall development plans.
• Analyze and apply traffic and environmental data to inform design decisions and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and design documentation for stakeholder engagements and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support during construction phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport design or related transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airport design standards, and safety criteria.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex design challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
