The main purpose of the position is to provide insight into the quality of talent and produce management information for organisational planning and talent management.
This includes designing, running, and bringing together the results of objective talent processes across the Petrofac businesses and functions.
The position will also produce talent data and contribute to projects that give insight into and strengthen the talent pipeline in key segments, including local markets and diverse groups.
The incumbent will supervise one Advisor, whose work will include coordination of graduate recruitment and development in years when Petrofac is running the graduate programme.
In addition, the incumbent will contribute to various other initiatives concerning organisational capability on an ad hoc basis, in response to business needs. Seeing opportunities to partner with HR colleagues and the business, and to make full use of SSC and HR Cloud, are also key qualities.
Coordinates the Talent Review across the organisation, working closing with business HR
Ensures that up-to-date and realistic succession plans for business-critical roles are in place
Plans, sets up, and runs the Development Centre for the assessment of G23+ promotion candidates, including briefing and coordinating the work of the assessors (G24 – UC), and assisting with feedback to candidates
Collaborates with HR to develop High Potential talent and diverse talent, for career development and business value
Acceses and analyses employee data to provide analyses of demography and other trends to support talent, learning, D&I, and other company initiatives
Helps prepare reports for senior management to describe employee trends
Partners on the selection or design of new tools to assess and develop talent
Advises on psychometrics, interprets individuals’ assessments, and provides feedback to management and to individuals
Develops and maintains assessment standards to be used across the organisation in selection and development
Acts as a thinking partner to the Global Head of Talent & Capability in research and analysis to find new ways to add value to the business from talent data and actions
Takes ownership of specific talent-related projects as required and in consultation with HR
Supervises one Advisor, ensuring the efficient use of this person and providing them with developmental support
