Senior Accountant
to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Dubai tax regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting operations of the company. Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial statements and reports. Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger. Oversee payroll, invoicing, and expense tracking. Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax-related filings as per Dubai laws. Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required. Provide financial insights and assist management in decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred). Minimum
5 years of accounting experience
(experience in the shipping & logistics industry is a plus). Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and other financial compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.What We Offer:
