Charterhouse are presently managing a search, for a Senior Accounting Specialist, to join a private investment arm of a consultancy group.

About the role
This role shall take ownership of a broad range of accounting and reporting based disciplines, within the accounting and finance function, in support of a Group Accountant and the Finance Director. This role shall be heavily focused towards the financial accounting and book-keeping management matters whilst overseeing areas of financial management pertaining to cash-flow controls, collections and the oversight of treasury related activities.

Functionally, this role shall also focus towards areas of statutory reporting and compliance matters linking to Tax, KYC and any financing agreements. In conjunction and in support of any private investment undertaking; this Senior Accountant will also be involved in contributing towards the financial analysis, costing and budget planning linked to any expenditure and/or investment appraisal across this private office.

About you
Within this search, the client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant, whom can demonstrate a strong baseline of 3 to 4 years of experience within a technical accounting role. On top of this, the client is ideally looking for a candidate whom can demonstrate a strong analytical-based skillset; whereby they can undertake any due-diligence and/or financial modelling through advanced Excel capabilities.

The successful candidate shall be driven and ambitious with an ability to manage senior reporting lines whilst handling tight deadlines with accurate and decisive reporting. Any applicants shall be required to demonstrate a background of working within a professional services environment and exposure to the UAE market is also a mandatory requirement within the search.
