Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Accountant to manage our company's financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, and maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting Record and reconcile daily transactions in Zoho Books. Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and petty cash. Maintain up-to-date financial records for all company departments.

Tax Compliance Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements. Prepare and file Corporate Tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Maintain organized documentation for all tax-related records.

Financial Reporting Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Support management in financial forecasting and budgeting. Provide analysis on profitability, expenses, and operational efficiency.

Payroll & Invoicing Process employee salaries, expense claims, and overtime records. Review and issue client invoices based on event contracts and project completion. Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.

Auditing & Compliance Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits. Ensure accounting procedures comply with internal policies and UAE financial laws.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (experience in events, AV, or rental industry preferred). Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing. Proficiency in Zoho Books (experience with Zoho Inventory or Zoho People is a plus). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
