Job Description

As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Your role will involve managing the accounting team, financial analysis, budgeting, and implementing effective financial controls. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in accounting principles, and a deep understanding of the agriculture industry. Job Responsibilities: Financial Management:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and provide recommendations for optimizing financial resources.

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial transactions and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall financial operations.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
• Perform variance analysis to identify deviations from budgeted targets and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Compliance and Controls:

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Coordinate and support external audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as executives and department heads, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA qualification preferred).
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role within the agriculture industry.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with agricultural operations and investment models is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
