Job Summary

The Senior Accountant - Auditing is responsible for planning, executing, and reviewing audit engagements to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. This role involves supervising audit staff, analyzing financial statements, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and perform internal and external audit engagements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory standards Review financial statements, general ledger accounts, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance Evaluate internal controls and assess financial and operational risks Prepare and review audit working papers, reports, and management letters Identify audit findings and provide practical recommendations for process improvements Supervise, mentor, and review work performed by junior auditors and accounting staff Coordinate with external auditors, management, and regulatory bodies Ensure timely completion of audits and adherence to established timelines Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed Stay current with changes in accounting standards, audit regulations, and best practices
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred) CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certification preferred 4-7 years of accounting and auditing experience Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and auditing standards Experience with audit software and ERP systems Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
