Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department, overseeing critical accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. You will be responsible for a broad range of accounting activities, from general ledger management and reconciliations to supporting month-end and year-end close processes and contributing to robust financial reporting. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and transaction processing. Execute comprehensive month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. Perform detailed account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, providing insights to management. Assist with tax compliance requirements and other regulatory filings. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information flow. Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

Exceptional GAAP/IFRS Expertise. Advanced Excel Proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas. Strong capabilities in Financial Reporting & Analysis. Expertise in Month-End/Year-End Close Process Management. Proficiency in General Ledger Management & Reconciliations. Meticulous Attention to Detail. Excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills. Experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in a similar senior role. Proven ability to manage complex accounting tasks and contribute to strategic financial planning. Demonstrated advanced proficiency with various accounting software. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) are preferred.
