About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage and oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The role involves supervising junior accountants, ensuring accurate records, and supporting management with timely financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily cash flow, journal entries, and reconciliations. Handle invoicing, receivables, payables, and vendor reconciliations. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws. Support external audits and maintain proper documentation. Oversee payroll/WPS, reimbursements, and petty cash management. Analyze branch and site profitability, and perform inter-company reconciliations. Provide management with financial analysis and KPI dashboards.

Requirements

Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA/CPA preferred). Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred). Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and Corporate Tax. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or Sage) and Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in the Retail, E-Commerce, or Trading sector is an advantage.
