Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in budgeting, audits, and financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
Ensure VAT filings and other statutory submissions are accurate and timely.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
Supervise junior accountants and support team development.
Liaise with other departments to ensure financial alignment.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and UAE tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
