Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Accountant

with strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will also have working experience with

Odoo accounting software

and be able to manage all aspects of the company's accounts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements and reports Handle accounts payable and receivable processes Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis Prepare quarterly VAT returns as per UAE FTA guidelines Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management Coordinate with auditors for financial audits Maintain accurate records in

Odoo ERP software

Record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments daily. Ensure correct classification of expenses, assets, liabilities, and revenues. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for overdue payments Prepare and circulate ageing reports to management with comments on long-pending invoices. Coordinate with sales/project teams to resolve client billing or collection issues. Prepare and share weekly cash flow forecasts with the MD Track costs incurred on each project, ensuring proper allocation of materials, labour, and subcontractor charges. Prepare project-wise profitability statements and highlight variances to management. Coordinate with the project and procurement teams to validate actual costs versus budget Support external auditors by providing necessary schedules, vouchers, and reconciliations. Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports. Provide financial analysis and commentary for management decisions. Submit reports within agreed timelines to the MD. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets in coordination with the MD and department heads. Monitor actual performance versus budget and highlight variances. Prepare rolling forecasts for cash flow and revenue planning. Develop and maintain internal control processes for approval of expenses, payments, and credit terms. Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed by all departments. Maintain accurate and secure filing of all financial records, contracts, and approvals. Periodically review systems and suggest improvements for efficiency and risk management.

Requirements:

Priority will be glass and aluminum field experience.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA preferred) Minimum

5 years of accounting experience

(preferably in manufacturing or construction industry) Strong working knowledge of

Odoo software

Excellent understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
