Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Oversee

daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations

for QSR locations Manage

general ledger

, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare

monthly financial statements

, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports Analyze

food cost, labor cost, COGS, and margins

; identify variances and trends Handle

inventory accounting

, waste tracking, and cost controls Manage

AP/AR

, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing Support

budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Ensure compliance with

sales tax, payroll tax, and local/state regulations

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. CPA or CMA certification preferred

5+ years of accounting experience

, with

minimum 2-3 years in QSR or restaurant industry (mandatory)

Strong understanding of

restaurant KPIs

(food cost %, labor %, prime cost, store-level P&L) Experience with

high-volume transactions and multi-location accounting

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
