Job Description

We are seeking a

highly experienced, sharp, and reliable Senior Accountant

with strong leadership skills and deep financial expertise. This role requires someone who can take full ownership of the company's accounting operations, manage multiple entities, and provide strategic financial guidance to management. The ideal candidate has

10+ years of experience

, exceptional analytical ability, and a proven track record in high-level accounting.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull Financial Ownership



Lead day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business units. Oversee the full general ledger, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Review and approve all journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings. Maintain all financial records with strict confidentiality and precision.

Advanced Financial Reporting



Prepare and review detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Conduct deep financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Present financial insights and recommendations directly to senior management.

Compliance & Audit



Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, GAAP, VAT, and corporate regulatory standards. Lead external audits and manage all auditor communications. Develop and implement strong internal controls across all departments.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management



Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. Oversee payments, collections, and treasury activities. Monitor company credit, exposures, and risk management processes.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning



Lead the budgeting cycle and long-term financial planning. Provide scenario modeling, margin analysis, and cost-saving strategies. Support the CEO with financial strategy, KPIs, and performance evaluations.

Leadership & Process Improvement



Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff. Create and implement improved accounting processes and SOPs. Support digital transformation and automation of finance systems.

Qualifications



Minimum 8-12 years of professional accounting experience

(mandatory). Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred). Strong knowledge of

IFRS, GAAP, VAT, and GCC financial regulations

. Proven experience managing

multiple entities or group structures

. Advanced proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.). Exceptional Excel skills, including financial modeling. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines with zero errors.

Preferred Experience



Experience in

luxury retail, wholesale, distribution, or multi-brand environments

. Background in

fast-paced, multi-country GCC businesses

. Experience working directly with CEOs or founders.
