Senior Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, from preparing financial statements to analyzing financial data and supporting key business decisions. Responsibilities - not limited to-: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions. Lead or participate in the month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate/resolve discrepancies. Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis. Implement and maintain internal controls. Support external and internal audits. Prepare and file tax returns and related documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of five years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles & VAT in Bahrain. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Please send your resume/CV
