Responsibilities

Participation in the month closing process (prepaid calculation and booking, analyzes, reconciliations etc) Preparing and providing financial data for monthly reporting Assistance with BS reconciliations P&L review Preparation of blanket PO's and booking of corresponding supplier invoices

Good knowledge on tax treatments in UAE (VAT, CIT, Excise). Would be required to prepare tax reports.

Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the bookkeeping Providing our partners with monthly/quarterly reports Execute standard processes within the team according to the procedures Assist in performing internal controls including month-end activities according to control framework Undertaking research and analysis tasks and any other ad-hoc duties related to general business and financial activities Actively supporting 1ADM project in stabilization phase

Requirements

3+ years in General Ledger or financial audit Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (being an ACCA/CIMA member/student will be an advantage) Fluent in English Efficient use of MS Office (in particular MS Excel) Working knowledge of other modern ERP systems (preferably SAP, Blackline and Coupa) Creating a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution Willingness to work 5 days per week from our UAE office
