Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Accountant

to join our client's real estate operations in Ajman on a contract basis. The role will focus on managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and current financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries. Record daily financial transactions and conduct periodic bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end and period-end closing processes. Manage invoicing, receipts, and payment follow-ups with both clients and vendors. Support VAT compliance by assisting with documentation and return filings in accordance with UAE tax regulations. Assist in internal and external audits by providing required financial data and reports. Ensure systematic documentation and proper filing of all accounting records. Collaborate with internal teams to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting variances and discrepancies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years' experience in an accounting/auditing/consulting firm preferred. Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations. Excellent communication and client-handling skills. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.). Valid UAE visa (own visa) preferred Immediate availability must.
