The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management. Cost Accounting: Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and procedures. Monitor manufacturing costs and analyze variances. Assist in the determination of product costs and pricing strategies. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in internal and external audit processes. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation. Coordinate physical inventory counts and analyze inventory levels. Optimize inventory management processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or job shop environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
