Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UAE standards. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, including timely filing and reconciliation. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Review and verify financial transactions, journal entries, and supporting documents. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for internal and external audits. Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. Support management with financial analysis, cost control, and decision-making. Oversee and guide junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of UAE experience

in an accounting role. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar). Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
