Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong background in real estate, holiday homes, and nightlife industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledgers, and tax returns. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in real estate and hospitality sectors. Collaborate with property management teams to manage accounting for holiday homes and related operations. Conduct regular audits of financial processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting and reconciliation. Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of accounting experience, with a focus on real estate, holiday homes, and nightlife. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with property management software. Knowledge of local and international financial regulations related to real estate and hospitality. Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting methodologies specific to the nightlife sector.
