Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to join our finance team in a leading MEP contracting company. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the construction or MEP sector, with excellent knowledge of accounting principles, project costing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Monitor project-wise costing, budget vs. actual analysis, and cash flow forecasting. Ensure compliance with local tax laws (VAT, withholding tax, etc.) and coordinate audits. Manage payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries. Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams for cost tracking and reporting. Prepare financial reports for management review and support in strategic decision-making. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA/ACCA is a plus). 5+ years of accounting experience in the MEP or construction industry. Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, ERP systems). Proficient in MS Excel and financial analysis tools. Familiarity with local tax regulations and labor laws. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
