Job Title: Senior Accountant

Industry: Family Entertainment Centers

Reporting to: CEO

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities for a group of entertainment/ retail venues. Responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting accounting information.

It is absolutely essential that the right candidate can take initiative and develop and maintain policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles Coordinate and complete annual external audits with Big 4 or equivalent firms Provide recommendations Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy Meet financial accounting objectives Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
What you'll need:

BS degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 3 years' experience working in the UAE in a senior accounting role Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and corporate tax compliance, including preparation and filing of returns in accordance with local laws Experience in Entertainment/ Retail is a plus Experience at a reputed auditing firm is a plus Advanced skills in different accounting software Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks Excellent communication and admin skills Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
