Job Description
Title Position: Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced and strategic Senior Accountant to join our team and help guide our organization through our next phase of growth.
Job Characteristics and Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Support and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring professional development and performance.
Collaborate with auditors, tax professionals and external partners.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
Knowledge and understanding about taxation (including Corporate Tax, VAT, and local UAE regulations).
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws and relevant corporate tax regulations.
Review and support VAT calculations and reports, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modelling, etc.)
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Quickbooks,Zoho,Xero, Tally)
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate work.*
Expertise in accounting, tax regulations, reporting and compliance in UAE.
