Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Accountant
to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will beACCA and/or CA qualified
, with strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role requires a solid understanding ofUAE VAT laws
,IFRS
, and regional business practices.Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations Manage general ledger accounting and ensure timely reconciliations Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure VAT compliance and handle tax filings with the UAE Federal Tax Authority Coordinate internal and external audits Monitor and improve internal controls and financial processes Support cash flow management and banking operations Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions Mentor junior accountants and support team development
Requirements
ACCA and/or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification (mandatory) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax laws Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally) and Excel Excellent analytical and communication skills Experience with ERP systems is a plus
