Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Accountant

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of strong accounting experience in the UAE, with a solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance. Candidates on own visa/sponsor visa will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards. Handle VAT filing, reporting, and compliance as per UAE tax regulations. Monitor cash flow, prepare financial forecasts, and maintain accurate financial records. Support in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities. Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and provide required documentation. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Assist management in making informed financial decisions by providing accurate reports and analysis. Stay updated with UAE accounting regulations, VAT laws, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience in Dubai/UAE. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage).
