Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations. Ensure accurate VAT filings and compliance with UAE corporate tax regulations. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decisions. Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures. Review reconciliations and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Provide financial insights and support to management for strategic planning. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff within the finance team.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred. Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE. Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax compliance. Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle). Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills in English
