As we expand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting operations and support our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and journal entries. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide insights to management for strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely VAT filings and full compliance with UAE tax laws. Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits and ensure all supporting documentation is ready and accurate. Supervise and mentor junior accountants and other finance staff. Develop and implement internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies. Liaise with other departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to ensure financial accuracy across the business.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards (IFRS), and local compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and communication skills. Experience in the FacilitiesManagement, Construction, or Services sector is a strong advantage.
