Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Accountant:

Manage day-to-day accounting for multiple business entities Oversee import/export financial transactions, including customs duties, freight, and FX adjustments Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and intercompany balances Monitor cash flow and working capital across business units Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and international trade regulations Coordinate with external auditors, customs brokers, and freight forwarders Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred) 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in UAE under import/export and multi-business environments Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and international trade compliance Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capability Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to perform under pressure. Motivated, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: As per company standards. Health insurance and other benefits as per UAE Labor Law.
