to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting functions, supervise junior staff, and support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion.
Review and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff.
Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, UAE VAT, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
