Senior Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can independently handle the company's finance and accounts department with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT, and cost control, and must be able to take full ownership of the accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently prepare and finalize Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Depreciation reports. Manage VAT 201 filing and closure on a quarterly basis. Handle cost controlling, budgeting, and preparation of MIS schedules. Develop, maintain, and manage the Chart of Accounts. Generate financial reports and present analysis to management. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and taxation regulations. Support audit preparations and liaise with auditors when required. Take full responsibility of accounting and finance functions, ensuring smooth operations without the need for extensive training.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting. CA Inter or CFA preferred. 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in the UAE. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT filing/closure, cost control, and MIS. Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel. Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of accounting functions. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
