Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing and overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Full-Cycle Accounting Operations:

Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Oversee accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Finalization of Accounts:

Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards. Review trial balances and adjust entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Banking & Reconciliation:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly.

VAT Compliance & Filing:

Prepare VAT computations and submit VAT returns to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on time. Ensure all transactions are VAT-compliant and maintain proper documentation. Handle VAT refunds, audits, and clarifications with the FTA when required.

Import and Export Transactions:

Record and manage accounting of import and export activities, including customs duties, freight, and insurance.

Payroll & Employee Benefits:

Process payroll entries, including gratuity, leave salary, and end-of-service benefits as per UAE labor laws. Ensure payroll compliance with WPS and relevant governmental requirements.

ERP & System Management:

Maintain and update accounting records using ERP systems (Tally) Generate custom financial reports and dashboards for management review.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

* UAE ACCOUNTING: 3 years (Preferred)
