Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong background in gold trading to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in gold trading, 3+ years of UAE work experience, and hands-on proficiency in DMCC portal management. The role requires a solid foundation in financial principles and accounting standards, with a preference for candidates holding or pursuing ACCA certification.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Handle all financial aspects of gold trading transactions, ensuring compliance with international and UAE-specific regulations.
• Maintain and manage records in line with DMCC compliance requirements.
• Administer and operate the DMCC portal, ensuring timely submission of required reports and documents.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund transfers.
• Support internal and external audits, and prepare financial statements as required.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE-based accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the gold trading industry.
• DMCC experience and portal management - strong advantage (almost mandatory).
• Professional qualification such as ACCA (completed or in progress) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
