Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Al Maraya Cars &Bus Rental. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, relevant experience in the UAE market, and a proven ability to manage finance operations with accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage cash flow, expense reports, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, tax filings, and financial legal requirements. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Coordinate year-end closing processes and external audits. Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting best practices. Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders. Support management with financial analysis to assist decision-making. Handle payroll, asset management, and support invoicing functions related to car rental operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA) are preferred. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the

car rental, automotive

, industry in the UAE. Thorough understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT laws, and financial regulations. Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
