. This role requires hands-on experience with project-related financials, invoicing, cash flow tracking, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue project invoices, including those with advance payments, progress payments, and retentions.
Monitor and track project-related expenses and payments.
Maintain up-to-date
Statements of Account
for clients and suppliers.
Coordinate with procurement to generate accurate
Purchase Orders
.
Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasting reports.
Handle
payment follow-ups
and manage
cash collections
.
Ensure full control over
inventory movement
, including documenting all incoming and outgoing materials and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Assist in monthly reporting, audits, and compliance.
Support financial documentation required for project handovers or certifications.
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounting within the joinery and fit-out industry.
Understanding of project-based accounting, payment terms, and retention rules.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho).
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
