We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

with a strong background in the aviation services sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in invoicing, bookkeeping, accounts payable & receivable, and handling bank payments and related documentation. The candidate must be a quick learner, able to manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and manage

client and vendor invoices

in accordance with service agreements and payment schedules. Maintain accurate and up-to-date

bookkeeping records

in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Monitor, manage, and reconcile

accounts payable and receivable

to ensure timely collections and disbursements. Process

bank payments

, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain comprehensive records for audits and reporting. Assist in

monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Support

internal and external audits

by preparing required documentation and reports. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, commercial, HR) for cross-functional accounting requirements. Continuously seek ways to improve accounting processes and support digital transformation initiatives. Adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and workflows to support company growth and operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the aviation or related service industries within the UAE. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) Excellent understanding of UAE VAT regulations, banking processes, and financial documentation. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy. An excellent communicator and resilient team player, even in challenging circumstances Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations. Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs and technologies.
