Senior Accountant
to join our finance team and support the financial management of both operational and investment activities.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records in line with
IFRS
andUAE regulatory standards
. Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, includingGL, AP/AR, bank reconciliations
, andintercompany transactions
. Preparemonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
and internal management reports. Oversee and monitorinvestment portfolios
including real estate, private equity, and marketable securities. Performfinancial data analysis
and monitor KPIs and returns on investment projects. Assist withbudgeting
,cash flow forecasting
, and long-termfinancial planning
. Coordinate withexternal auditors, tax consultants
, and government bodies (e.g., FTA, DED, SCA). Ensuretimely VAT return filings
and compliance withFTA regulations
. Maintainfixed asset registers
, manage depreciation schedules, and support asset audits. Reconciledividends
, investment income, andfair value adjustments
. Contribute todue diligence and financial modeling
for new investment opportunities.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance
, or a related field.Professional certification
preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA). Minimum5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
, ideally in a finance or investment environment. Strong command ofIFRS
,UAE VAT laws
, and regulatory compliance (ESR, UBO, etc.). Proficiency inERP/accounting systems
(e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books). AdvancedMicrosoft Excel
skills and financial reporting expertise. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
.Preferred Skills:
Experience managing
multi-currency transactions
. Knowledge ofprivate equity or venture capital accounting
. Familiarity witheconomic substance regulations (ESR)
andUBO compliance
. Exposure tointernal audit processes
and internal control systems.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
