Senior Accountant

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and financial reporting. Manage VAT filing, compliance, and reconciliation as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations. Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audit. Monitor monthly cash flow, budgeting and forecasting. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with the IFRS. Support management with financial analysis, monthly dashboards and ad-hoc reports as requested. Ensure compliance with corporate tax law and other relevant regulations Proficient in using ERP system for accounting including ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data within the system.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Minimum 5-6 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE. Proven knowledge of UAE tax laws, including VAT and corporate tax. Hands on experience using Odoo ERP system is an advantage. Strong understanding of IFRS and local financial regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism.
