We are looking for a meticulous and results-driven

Senior Accountant

to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in accounting and financial auditing, and demonstrate strong analytical skills to manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee monthly payroll reviews and ensure timely disbursements Prepare and submit VAT reports to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Lead the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with external auditors Prepare and review Payment Certificates (PCs) for subcontractors Oversee the preparation of the Petty Cash Fund (PCF) report Review and approve invoices, payments, and receipts Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in ERPNext Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Process employee expense reimbursements Support budget development and financial forecasting Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Provide strategic insights and reporting to management Mentor and support junior finance staff as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in financial auditing In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and practices Hands-on experience with ERPNext and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional collaboration

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA/CA is a plus) Professional certification in accounting or auditing is an advantage
