Job Purpose This is a payables role ensuring that airlines and other vendors are periodically reconciled and all payments are made accurately and on time. This role is also responsible for handling petty cash and ensure miscellaneous payments. Job Responsibilities Reconciliation and accurate payments made to the BSP and LCC.
Reconciliation and accurate payments made to the GSAs;
Maintaining deposits in LCCs (low cost carrier accounts) to ensure money is always available for these suppliers when required.
Reconciliation and accurate payments made to non BSP suppliers including Hotels, Insurances, Car Hire companies etc.
Reconciliation of payable ledger with vendor.
Manage the purchase payments of stationery and miscellaneous office items.
Manage the handling of cash expenses and IOUs to staff.
Booking input VAT and reconciling every quarter and submit the report to FM.
Preparing the payment when due and booking in accounting system.
Job Requirements Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounts
Experience
At least 3-5 years' experience in a Finance role, preferably in a Payables role
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent communication skills
Well organised & effective plans in all situations.
Methodical approach for better inputs, result oriented
Can work under pressure with deadlines
Able to work independently.
Sets and achieve highest work standard at all the times.
