Job Description

Currently aiming to attract qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant position within our client\'s commodity trading company based in Dubai. We\'re seeking a talented individual who possesses the right blend of expertise in accounting, experience in commodity trading, and familiarity with Navision ERP.

Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Review journal entries and adjusting entries for accuracy and compliance.
Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls.
Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
Proficiency in Navision ERP is mandatory.
Experience in the commodity trading industry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with DMCC regulations and procedures is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
